Towson, Md. (July 31, 2019) – On the evening of Thursday, July 25, the residents of Edenwald, a senior living community in Towson, Md., hosted the 19th annual Employee Scholarship Awards Ceremony. During this year’s program, 59 Edenwald employees of various ages and roles were awarded a total of $125,000 in scholarship dollars to apply towards their higher and/or continued education.

The money awarded was raised entirely by donations from community residents. The scholarship recipients were chosen through an application process and received their awards in front of an audience consisting of Edenwald residents, employees, family and friends.

“The Scholarship Awards Ceremony is always a great celebration of the meaningful connections that develop between those who live and those who work in our community,” said Mark Beggs, President and CEO, Edenwald. “Our employees go above and beyond every day to ensure life is as pleasant and care-free as it can be for our residents, and to show their appreciation of their faithful service, our residents generously support our employees’ desires to further their education and career development.”
