The importance of Edenwald accreditation
Edenwald is proud to be an accredited Lifecare community—Towson’s ONLY accredited Lifecare community. We are accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC), the nation’s only system for accrediting retirement communities, including continuing care, fee-for-service, and communities such as ours.
CCAC accreditation is widely regarded as a mark of quality for continuing care retirement communities because of the rigorous standards that must be met in order to achieve it. The accreditation process includes an extensive self-study, as well as an on-site review by trained CCAC evaluators. The evaluation requires the full commitment of Edenwald’s Board, staff and residents and takes approximately one year to complete.
Accreditation provides further assurance that Edenwald is dedicated to making life here extraordinary, a celebration worth experiencing every day.
